Poster:
Here is a preview of our advertisement for our performance, 'What If?'.
When deciding on the title for our performance we wanted to make sure it came across strong and made audience intrigued in what we were producing. So, we thought making it a rhetorical question will involve the audience straight away and let them explore their own mind of what our piece would be like. Moreover, we wanted to make sure that the audience had a brief idea of our narrative, so again we added questions that appear right at the top of our poster, for example, 'what if the London riots had never stopped?'.
Overall, I think the poster looks really effective and will hopefully attract audience to our performance.
Facebook Page:
We also created a Facebook page to invite a more broader audience as nowadays a lot of people use the internet, especially social networking sites such as Facebook. Also, by using Facebook to invite audiences it means that guests of the page can also invite their friends. We believed that we would be able to gain a more accurate figure of numbers in regards to who will be coming which helps us as performers to know how many we will be dealing with.
